In April 1940, William C. Bodine, age 26 and single, and employed as a packer for a chemical company, lived with his parents in Rahway, Union County. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II from Aug 1943 to Dec 1945. Naval records show he was born 18 Nov 1914 and died 25 May 1979. He and his wife Louise are listed as residents in the city directories of Rahway, New Jersey from 1940 to 1958. Social Security records list his last residence as New Port Richey, Pasco County, Florida, but he died out of state as he is not listed in the Florida death records index.

LOUISE R. BODINE, 81, of New Port Richey died Monday at Heather Hill Nursing Home in New Port Richey. A native of Pennsylvania, she moved to this area 19 years ago from Rahway, N.J. She was a retired machine operator for a cardboard box company, a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in New Port Richey, a 40 year member of the Moose Lodge #1429 in Tarpon Springs, the Massachusetts Club in New Port Richey and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #7987 in New Port Richey. She is survived by two sons, William "Bill" and Lawrence "Larry" both of Rahway, N.J.; a sister, Clara A. Lenard of Holiday; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Thomas B. Services for Mrs. Louise R. Bodine, 81, of New Port Richey, Fla., a former Rahway resident, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Vanderhoven Chapel at Hazelwood Cemetery, Clark, following the funeral from the Lehrer-Gibilisco Funeral Home, 275 W. Milton Ave., Rahway. Mrs. Bodine died Monday in the Heather Hill Nursing Home, New Port Richey. She was a machine operator for MacMillan & Bloedel, Union, for 35 years before retiring in 1979. Mrs. Bodine was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Moose Lodge 1614, Tarpon Springs, Fla., and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 7987, New Port Richey. She was a member of the the Yugoslav-American Club, Spring Hill, Fla., the American Legion and the Eagle, all of New Port Richey. Born in Midway, Pa., she lived in Rahway before moving to Florida 19 years ago. Surviving are two sons, William C. and Lawrence C.; a sister, Mrs. Clara Lenard; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
