Dawn E. Sickler, 71, of Thurston Hollow, died surrounded by her family on Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 47 years Robert Sickler. She was born in Scranton on July 7, 1946, daughter of the late William and Marion Colley Bodine. She was a graduate of the Benton High School, in Fleetville. She co-owned and operated Sickler dairy farm for 24 years along with Sicklers Produce for 30 years. She attended and participated in the Pilgrim Holiness Church her entire life, she was always full of love, life sharing of her vegetables, and loved her animals especially her dogs. She was preceded in death by her brothers: John Bodine, David Bodine, and William Bodine. She is survived by her children: Robert and Missy Sickler, Tom Sickler, and Joe and Jamie Sickler; sisters: Shirley Hass, and Charlotte Stokes; grandchildren: Mary, Matthew, and Alex; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were held on Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 30, from the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Tunkhannock with Pastor Joel Byer. Interment in South Eaton Cemetery.
