William G. Bodine AND Cora M. Abbey were married 22 Oct 1937 in Honeoye Falls, Monroe County.

Obituary, The Livonia Gazette (Livonia, N.Y.) of 24 Feb 1972.
Funeral services were held at the Brown Funeral Home in Livonia, Wednesday, Feb. 23, 1972, for William G. Bodine Sr. of Decker Rd. who died Friday, Feb. 18. in Warsaw. Mr. Bodine was bom in Mt. Morris, Feb. 15. 1914, the son of Carl and Iva Cuddeback Bodine. He was a veteran of World War II, and was an attendant at the Rochester State Hospital until forced to retire because of ill health. He is survived by is wife, Cora Abbey Bodine; his father, Carl Bodine of Geneseo; two sons, William G Bodine Jr. of Holcomb and Ronald F. Bodine of Livonia; two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Mercardo, Chicago, III, Mrs. Laura Newcomb of Conesus; three brothers, Francis of Livonia, Earl of Lakeville and Donald of Churchville; one sister, Mrs. Florence Hasler, Sebring Fla.; twelve grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The Rev. David Roe officiated. Interment at the convenience of the family in Union Cemetery, Livonia.

Cora A. Bodine, 84, of Big Tree Road, formerly of Honeoye, died June 28, 2003 at the Livingston County Skilled Nursing Facility in Geneseo. She was born the daughter of Orlando and Anna Wompole Abbey on Sept. 10, 1918 in West Sparta. She was predeceased by her husband William in 1972. She is survived by her children, Shirley Donohue of North Carolina, William (Deb) Bodine of Honeoye, Laura (William) Woodruff of Lakeville, Ronald (Liz) Bodine of Florida, Kevin Bodine of Honeoye; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., Route 15, Livonia where services will be held following calling at 1 p.m. with the Rev. George Davis officiating. Burial, Union Cemetery in Livonia. Friends wishing may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Sympathy is given to Mrs. William Bodine Sr. for the second time this year. Mrs. Bodine's husband died Feb. 18, 1972, and her grandson, Stuart Bodine, was drowned Sunday in Conesus Lake.
