Hello,

I stumbled upon your website just this evening, and am amazed at how many Bodine's there are in this world! I read quite a bit of it, and intend to read more when time permits.

My maiden name is Bodine. My father, James Edward Bodine, passed away six years ago at the young age of 64. My dad has nine siblings (all Bodine's): Nancy, Karen, William, Thomas, Jeffrey, Frank, Eugene, Kenneth, and Albert. His parents were Walter Bodine and Alberta Stewart Bodine. My immediate family has lived in Florida since 1984, however, we are originally from Youngstown, Ohio.

I've been told that one of my aunt's has done quite a bit of genealogy work on the Bodine family. I've always wanted to contact her and obtain that information; reading your website has motivated me even more to get that information and start digging! One of these days when I get it from her, I'll gladly forward the information to you for your website.

Thank you for a job well done!

Hi Dave,

My Uncle Jeff's middle name is Glen. I do recall that my grandmother is from West Virginia, but I don't recall which part of the state. My grandfather did work in the steel mills in Youngstown, but I THINK his father's name was Frank (not sure). The name Osborne does not sound at all familiar. My dad is the second oldest, and he was born in 1938 in Youngstown.

This is so very interesting! My life is so hectic, but one of these days (as soon as I can get it on my plate!) I'm going to get my aunt's research from her. Thanks for your quick response!!

Terry
