George H. Bodine AND Grace Johnson were married 6 Dec 1897 in Kings County.

George Bodine cannot be found in the 1900 census, but the Brooklyn city directory for 1900 shows him as living at 864 Atlantic Avenue and working as an engraver. In 1910, Grace Bodine was living in the home of her widowed mother, Johanna Johnson, on Lexington Avenue in Brooklyn. She reported she had been married for 12 years and had borne 2 children, only 1 of whom was living, her daughter Edna. George Bodine was not living with the family. In 1918, George Howard Bodine registered for the World War I draft in Attleboro, Massachusetts. In 1920, the whole family was together and now living in North Attleborough, Bristol County, Massachusetts, where George worked as an engraver in a jewelry factory. In 1930, Grace and Edna Bodine were living in Elkhart, Elkhart County, Indiana. Again, George was not part of the family. Grace Bodine was buried in Prairie Street Cemetery, Elkhart County.

Mrs. Edna Schuele, 243 Chapman, was called to Cincinnati, Ohio, Friday by the death of her father, George Bodine, who died Friday evening at a hospital there. Mr. Bodine is a former resident of Elkhart and former employee of C. G. Conn Ltd.
