In 1910, Lloyd Bodine, age 23 and single, was living in Pensauken Township, Camden County, New Jersey working as a driver for a jewelry firm. On 5 June 1917, he registered for the World War I draft in Philadelphia stating he was born in Emleytown [sic-Imlaystown], New Jersey on 9 Feb 1887 and was working as a brakeman for the Pennsylvania Railroad. When Lloyd G. Bodine registered for the World War II draft in 1942 in Philadelphia, he declared himself a disabled veteran and stated he was born 9 Feb 1890 in Trenton, New Jersey. He named Mrs. Marie Bodine as his next of kin.

1940 (12 April) North Wildwood, Cape May Co.: Lloyd G. BOWDINE 51 NJ (no occ.), Marie E. 42 PA wife, Gertrude Gloria 13 NJ dau, John J. 22 PA son Laborer.

Lloyd G. Bodine filed a life claim on 16 Oct 1951 and reported he was born 9 Feb 1885 in Imlaystown, Penn. [sic-Imlaystown is in New Jersey]
Marie E. Bodine filed a life claim on 11 March 1960 and reported she was born 15 June 1897.

Lloyd G. Bodine, 68, husband of Marie E. Coigne Bodine, died Wednesday at his home 1078 Rozel Ave., Southampton. A veteran of World War I, he was a retired employee of the Reading Railroad Company. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, John J.; two daughters, Mrs. Marie O. Cannon and Mrs. Gloria DeVincent, all of Southampton, and three grandchildren. Solemn high requiem mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Southampton. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltemham, under direction of the William Rowen Grant Funeral Home Inc., Southampton. Friends may call Sunday 7-9 p.m.
