Notes for: Lawson Bodine

There are no children at home in the 1850 census. Louisa appears later in the household of George Washington Hobbs, whose wife was Ellen Davis, her sister. Barbara Hilty says that Lawson married Louisa Dugan. The exact date of Lawson's birth comes from his tombstone.

Bond of 12 June 1835 by Lawson Bodine & Bryan Davis for the marriage of Lawson Bodine and Louisa Davis, daughter of Isaac Davis. Lawson Bodine AND Louisa Davis were married 12 June 1835 by I. Taylor.

Lawson Bodine and Louisa married June 16, 1835.
Lawson Bodine son of Isaac and Elizabeth died March 20, 1854.

The will of Lawson Bodine of Bloomfield, Nelson County was written on an unstated date. All property went to his wife Louisa. Executor was his friend T. H. Miles. The will was proved 10 April 1854. [Nelson Co. Wills, vol. 7 [1852-1854], p. 297.)
