Mrs. Dannie Jo (Bodine) Baker, age 65, of Kopperl, went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2012 with her family by her side. Funeral services were held Monday, February 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel in Hillsboro, Texas, with burial following at Bethlehem Cemetery in Whitney, Texas. "She was born November 22, 1946 in Coleman, Texas, daughter of the late John Daniel Bodine and Bennie Jo Merryman Bodine. She grew up and attended school in Coleman. Dannie worked all her life in various secretarial positions and recently retired from Brazos Valley Equipment Company in Hillsboro. She was a member of Olive Branch Church in Whitney and enjoyed singing, reading and cooking for family and friends. Survivors include: one brother, Johnny Bodine and wife, Nelda of Leesville, Louisiana; one sister, Jan Garner of Coleman; two sons, Richard Ogles and wife, Martha of Laguna Park and Ray Ogles of Waco; one daughter, Robin Brandon and husband, Rodney of Kopperl; 11 Grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
