1940 West Whiteland, Chester Co., PA: William R. BODINE 45 NJ road laborer, Viva W. 47 PA wife, Josephine D. HAVELAND 78 NJ mother.

In 1942, William Russell Bodine registered for the World War II draft as a resident of Glen Loch, East Whiteland Township, Chester County. He reported he was born 15 Sept 1894 in Camden, New Jersey and that Mrs. William Bodine of his address, was his next of kin.

From State of Pennsylvania Certificate of Death for Mrs. Viva W. Bodine: born 16 April 1892 in Wayne Co., Pa., daughter of James A. Wiley & Mary E. Miller; died 22 June 1943 in West Chester, Pa.; burial in Birmingham, Chester Co., Pa; wife of William Bodine. Informant was Wm. R. Bodine.
