Married. Sept. 1, by Rev. Wm. H. Pittman, John H. Snook to Sarah A. Bodine, both of East Amwell.

John and Sarah Snook lived 1880 in Hopewell, Mercer County, New Jersey. By 1895, Sarah Snook was widowed and in 1900-1910, Sarah Snook was living in Hopewell where she operated a boarding house. She reported in 1900 that she had borne 3 children of whom 2 were living.

John Snook of Woodsville died of pneumonia yesterday after only a brief illness.

Again we have been called to mourn the loss of a friend and neighbor in the death of John K. Snook. He was taken with pneumonia on Saturday the 5th inst. and died on Tuesday the 8th. A kind husband, a true father and a good neighbor is gone, and one who will be missed by all his friends. His sorrowing wife and children have the sympathy of all.

Mrs. Sarah A. Snook, aged 72, widow of the late John K. Snook, died late Monday night at the home of her son-in-law, Edwin P. Wyckoff, of 205 South Warren street, Trenton, after a prolonged illness. The funeral services will be held from her son-in-law's home on Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock, with services in the Hopewell M. E. church. A former Methodist pastor, here, the Rev. W. H. Murphy, will conduct the services at the church and will be assisted by the Rev. W. B. Magsam. Interment will be in Highland cemetery. The deceased is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edwin P. Wyckoff; two grandsons, Earl and Raymond Snook, of Trenton; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Reed, of Minneapolis, Minn. and one brother, John Bodine, of Lambertville. Mrs. Snook was a former Hopewell resident, having made this place her home for thirty years. She leaves many sincere friends in this borough to mourn her loss.

Children: Samuel H. (1879), Alberta (June 1881).
