Subject: Joseph Bresley Jr, Great grandson of Elbert & Norma Bodine

Hello Dave,

My name is Joe Bresley. I am 40 years old and live in Langhorne PA. The reason for this email is that I joined my mother and two sisters the day after Christmas to visit our grandparents and great-grandparents gravesites in Wrightstown and Whitemarsh PA. My mother and sisters make homemade wreath-like ornaments that they lay over the graves every year at christmas. Since I am on vacation for the remainder of the year, I decided to join them.

We visited my grandmother first at Whitemarsh, Pearl N. Bodine-Duff-Jurey, then went on to visist Pearl's parents Elbert S. & Norma Bodine at Wrightstown Friends Meeting. While there, I was surprised to see so many other relatives buried near them, that I began writing down all the names and dates that were readable on the stones. My sister then told me a cousin was doing research on the family tree until her passing a few years ago. She stated that her daughter had taken over the task, but we had heard nothing other than our family tree goes back to ancestors who lived and fought in the Revolutionary War period.

When I returned home, I began typing in some of the names, and was surprised to find several of them on your genealogy site. I also have some more information I can relay to you for updates as well.

I guess at this point Dave, I want to say that I am new to this, so I am confused but very interested in learning more. Your site contains so many names listed, but has me wandering, are all these names listed related to each other by birth and/or marriages? If this is the case, would that make us cousins or some other relation?

Thank you for taking time to read this, and I look forward to hearing back from you when you have time from your schedule to respond.

Take care, and hope to chat soon.

Joseph M. Bresley, Jr.
