WASHINGTON CROSSING -- Barbara L. ''Bootsie'' Johnson, age 66, died Friday at her Washington Crossing home. She is the beloved wife of 41 years to Robert K. Johnson, Sr and the daughter of the late John and Lillian Bodine of Trenton. Bootsie worked for many years as a Nurses Aide at several local nursing homes. She also enjoyed many things such as reading and making crafts for the children in the family at each of the holidays, family picnics, camping at the folk festival. She watched figure skating and her daily ''Soaps'' on Channel 3 as her favorite things she enjoyed most. Bootsie had so much love for her family and is survived by her six children, Donna, Gary, Sharon, Susan, Denise and Tacy and she is the loving grandmother of Dale, Michael, Amy, Tacy Lynn and Holly. She is the stepmother of three and step-grandmother of 13 and the step-great grandmother of four. She is also survived by her three sisters, Marlene, Mildred and Sandra and her brother the late John ''Jackie'' Bodine . Relatives and friends are invited to Bootsie's Life Celebration on Friday, Nov 19, from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday Nov 20 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Swartz/Givnish Funeral Home, Washington and Lincoln Aves, Newtown, 215-968-3891 and to her funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery. UPPER MAKEFIELD, Pa. - Robert K. Johnson, 78, of Washington Crossing, Pa., died on Dec. 21, 2010, at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. Born in Doylestown, Bob was a life long Upper Makefield Township resident. Bob attended Dolington School and was a truck driver for New Hope Quarry and local farmers. He enjoyed bowling and was an active Little League Baseball Coach. He helped build the baseball fields at Wrightstown Tri Township Park. Bob built and piloted his own Ultralite "Pterodactyl." He filmed his children at their sporting events, horse shows and wrestling matches. Bob was a master builder and carpenter, building his own barn and garage. He was a devoted father and planner. Among his fellow truckers he was the "Joker." Bob enjoyed his good friends, a good time and family. Bob was the son of the late Henry K. and Maude Worthington Johnson, brother of the late Violet Gill, and husband of the late Barbara Bodine Johnson. He is survived by his children, Robert and his wife Janis, James and his wife Alice, Patti Bloom and her husband George, Gary Yates and his wife Barb, Donna Peters, Sharen McClister, Susan McAllister, Denise Johnson and Tacy Steimle; 12 grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Virginia Wilson; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Bob's life celebration on Tuesday (Dec. 28) from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday (Dec. 29) from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Swartz/Givnish Funeral Home, 323 E.
