Notes for: Margaret Y. Bodine

Her husband's name is William Sharp in the obit for her brother Joseph James Bodine. That appears to be a mistake, though. Even her own obit below seems to make a mistake about the name of her husband.

LAMBERTVILLE--Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Margaret Bodine Sharp, 76, of 14 George Street, at 11 a.m. wednesday from the Van Horn Home on 21 York Street, Lambertville. Mrs. Sharp died Friday in the Mercer Medical Center. She was born in Lahaska and was a resident of Lambertville most of her life. Surviving are her husband, Howard L. Sharp; three sons, Richard, of Lambertville, Arthur, with the U.S. Army in Germany and Donald of Browns Mills; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Bennett of Trenton and Mrs. Elizabeth Marvelli of Albany, N.Y.; one sister, Mrs. Catherine Grollin of Lambertville; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call 10 a.m. to time of services Wednesday.

LAMBERTVILLE--Funeral services for Harold Leon Sharp, 77, of the Hibernia Apartments, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Van Horn Funeral Home, 21 York St. The Rev. William G. Thompson, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Lambertville will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Lambertville. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday evening. Mr. Sharp died Thursday in Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington. He retired after 30 years with Hamilton Rubber Co. of Trenton, was born in Trenton, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Husband of the late Mrs. Margaret Bodine Sharp, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Bennett of Trenton and Mrs. Elizabeth DeMarco of Albany; three sons, Richard C. Sharp of Lambertville, Donald E. Sharp of Banger, Pa., and Arthur L. Sharp of West Germany; 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
