Notes for: Camille Bodine

Camille was born Cora Mae Bodine. She formerly changed that to Camille Bodine (no middle name) when she went to college.

Dave
I just happened across this reference to my mother, Camille Bodine Dailey and I thought you might want to update the birth date. She was in fact born in 1922.

Regards,
Jann Dailey-Hargadon

Dave,
My dad, John died 4/6/2011. My aunt Abbie (Aldred) is still alive. I haven't seen her in years but she lives in Navasota near her two sons.

I didn't see anything else that I could correct!

I'm glad you did this because I have the family bible, from my grandparents, Jim and Eva, and it didn't give any one's date of birth or the date of their marriage.

I have one sister, Jill Dailey Miller who lives in Valentine, TX. She has no children.

I have two daughters and two grandchildren.

Let me know if you want more information.

Jann

Dave,
My father was born 9/11/23 in Austin, TX. He died in Austin and both he and my mother were cremated and they wanted their ashes spread together. We haven't had a chance to get the whole family together but we will spread the ashes this fall in a canyon on our farm in Dripping Springs, TX. His parents were Thomas Dailey and Renee Tinney Dailey. I will see if I can find out my grandfather's middle name. He died of cancer when my dad was young.

My mother was born Cora Mae Bodine but everyone called her "Cootsie". She never liked Cora Mae so she changed her name to Camille when she came to Austin for college. She did not use a middle name other than Bodine.

I don't know Abbie's (Aldred) middle name.

Peggy's husband is still alive and still lives in Colorado City, TX.

The bible I have started with Jim and Eva. It doesn't have much personal info in it other than the 4 kids names & who they married.

I hope this helps fill in the gaps for you. Are you in Texas?

Best,
Jann

Dave,
There were indeed 5 children! I guess that was just a typo.

My mom officially changed her name to Camille when she came to UT Austin.

...

Best,
Jann
