Subject: Barbara Hunt Bodine and Richard Lee Bodine

I was playing around on the computer, looking for old classmates when I found an obituary for Barbara Hunt Bodine. We were friends in 1953 and graduated high school together in Decatur, IL. I was also friends also with her sister, Shirley, and with her husband, Dick Bodine. I moved away the next year and lost touch with everyone.

I was so sorry to see that both Barbara and Dick have passed. We used to have so much fun together . . . . hard to believe I am now such an old lady with so many old friends lost :(

If you happen to see this and there is some way for you to get a message to Shirley, please give her my love and tell her I still remember our good times together, having fun and listening to jazz! On your Barbara's obituary it appears that Shirley is living in Henderson, NV as is Mike Bodine. Her name is now Shirley Johnson. I now live in Scottsdale, AZ - - so we are all 3 out in the desert!.

What a wonderful genealogy web site you have, you should be so proud. I have only dabbled in it a bit and have stray scraps of paper and printouts but nothing that even makes much sense. Hopefully someday I will get a bit more done while I am still able.

My name back in Decatur (in case you can contact Shirley or even Mike Bodine) was Ann Taylor. Now I am known as Annie Isaac.

Thanks so very much for any help you are able to provide :)
