Notes for: Helen M. Bodine

From Ronny Bodine:

Helen Williams was living 1930 with her mother and stepfather, Pearl and Glen Henley, in Mount Vernon. Although the census noted she was married, her husband was not evident. Milton Ford was killed instantly when he was run over by a heavily loaded truck while working on a paving project on Second and Broadway in Mount Vernon. The truck, loaded with sand cement for a big mixing machine was backing up and the driver did not see Mr. Ford. Helen and Milton Ford were buried in Williams Cemetery, Mount Vernon. See the obituary of Milton Ford in the Mount Vernon "Register-News" of 22 Sept 1961.
