Neal and Ruth Henry were buried in South Hickory Hill Christian Church Cemetery, Jefferson County. The Henry family was living 1930 in Mount Vernon, Jefferson County where Neal worked as a delivery man.

Neal "Red" Henry, retired teamster and former employee of the Mt Vernon car shops, died at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the John J. Cochran Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. Mr. Henry, was employed by Starr Brothers here for 23 years, resided at 1105 south 22nd street. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 pm. at Myers Chapel. The Rev. Everett Lemay will officiate and burial will be in South Hickory Hill cemetery. The American Legion will conduct graveside military rites. The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel, where friends may call after 4:00 p.m. today. Mr. Henry was born November 7, 1896 In Jefferson County, the son of George and Hattie (Ford) Henry. On August 3, 1920 he was married, in Mt Vernon, to Ruth Bodine, who survives. He was a veteran of World War I. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Mack Henry of Mt Vernon; three grandchildren; a half-brother, Lorn Henry of Mt Vernon.

Mrs. Ruth Henry of 1105 south 22nd street died at 1:26 o'clock Thursday at the Mt. Vernon State Tuberculosis Sanitarium. She was 61 years, five months, and 27 days old. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Myers Chapel with the Rev. Marsh Harpole officiating. Burial will be in South Hickory Hill cemetery. The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel where friends may call after 5:00 p.m. today. Mrs. Henry was born Nov. 16, 1900, in Jefferson county, the daughter of Jessie and Ada (Drennan) Bodine. In this city, on Aug. 16, 1919, she was married to Neal Henry, who preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 1964. She is survived by a son, Mack Henry; two sisters, Mrs. Inez Quinn and Mrs. Pansy Sulcer; two brothers, Luther and Jessie (Jay) Bodine, all of Mt. Vernon; and three grandchildren.
