In April 1910, Gussie L. Bodine, 14, lived with her parents in Precinct 4, Dallas County, Texas. In January 1920, Gussie Bodine, 20, lived with her parents in Mesquite, Dallas County, Texas. The Feb 1936 obituary of her mother names among her survivors her daughter Gussie Moore of Forney as does the obituary of her father.
The 1930 Dallas, Dallas Co., Texas census lists William MOORE 32 TX grocer, his wife Gussie 29 TX post office clerk, and Carrie Moore, 52 mother. It was noted that William and Gussie were married 1 year or less. The same family was living 1940 in Forney, Kaufman County, Texas as Delie? MOORE 61 TX, William H. 42 TX son manager of a retail grocery, Gussie 46 TX daughter in law. Carrie Moore died 17 April 1946 in Forney, Texas with W. A. Moore Jr. as the informant for her death certificate. Her obituary in the Terrell Tribune of 18 April 1946 names her only child as W.A. Moore, Jr.

Mrs. Gussie Moore, 57, a former resident of Mesquite, died Saturday at the home of her sister, Mrs. S. C. Hass, 1628 Hatcher, after a short illness. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the First Methodist Church in Forney with the Rev. Ben F. Hearn officiating. Burial will be in Mesquite Cemetery. Surviving besides her sister are two brothers, J. E. Bodine and F. L. Bodine, both of Dallas. Pallbearers will be nephews of Mrs. Moore. They are Glenn P. Hass, Cleveland Hass, J. W. Moore, Roy Moore, Earnest Ray Moore and Floyd Bodine, Jr.
