The marriage of William Wilkes, of Trenton and Miss Irene Bodine, of Florence was reported in the Mount Holly "Herald" of 27 Oct 1917 and the "New Jersey Mirror" of 31 Oct 1917. William and Irene Wilkes were living 1920-1930 in Trenton, Mercer County where William worked as a machinist. In 1930, William and Irene lived next door to Irene's brother Claude Bodine and his family. The couple appears not to have had any children.
