David Bodine served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and was wounded in action at Guadalcanal.

On 25 Feb 1943, David Samuel Bodine of Moorestown, NJ, registered for the World War II Draft. He reported he was born 19 Aug 1924 in Moorestown and named his mother, Mrs. Anna Bodine, as his next of kin.

Ruth V. Simpkins of Pemberton, Age 86 passed away September 24 at Buttonwood, Aspen Hills. She was a native of Masonville and lifelong resident of Pemberton. Ruth had worked as a Seamstress at R.H. Scrieber in Riverside. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence. She is survived by her siblings Marie McMullen of Burlington, Francis Verner of Burlington, and Patricia Dutton of Indiana and her many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and great-great nieces & nephews. Relatives and Friends are invited to Ruth's graveside service Tuesday, October 1, 10:00am at The Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pemberton Borough. In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the donors favorite charity.

Clare T. Bodine of Pemberton Township passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at home. She was 80. She was a native of Centerton in Mount Laurel and was a resident of Pemberton Township since 1953. Clare was a 1949 graduate of Moorestown High School. She was a retired executive manager for the former Gimbel's Department Store, Moorestown. Clare was the beloved wife of David S. Bodine; dear mother of David S. Bodine Jr. and his wife, Susan of Colorado Springs, Colo., Pamela Ann Holmes and her husband, Martin of Eastampton, William Joseph Bodine and his wife, Rosemarie of Browns Mills and Mary Elizabeth Walkowicz and her husband, Robert of Browns Mills; sister of Francis Verner of Mount Laurel, Marie McMullen of Riverside, Ruth Simpkins of Browns Mills and Patricia Duncan of Indiana; grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of six. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Relatives and friends of David's family are invited to his funeral service 10:00 AM Thursday at The BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 350 Provinceline Road, Arneytown, North Hanover Twp. where he will receive U.S. Marine Corp Honors.
