The marriage of Andrew H. Bodine of Philadelphia and Mary Mingin, of Swedesboro, New Jersey was announced in the "Gloucester County Democrat" of 19 Oct 1899. The Andrew Bodine family was living 1900 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1910 in East Greenwich Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey and 1920-1930 in Bridgeton, Cumberland County where Andrew worked as a carpenter in 1920 and owned his own cabinet making shop in 1930. Mamie Bodine, called Mary in 1910 and Anie in 1920, stated in 1910 she had borne 5 children, all then living.

City Directories for Bridgeton, New Jersey for 1937 and 1945 list Mary Bodine as the widow of Andrew. Mary Bodine is not listed in 1947. Andrew Bodine died between the April 1930 census and the 1937 directory listing. The 1937 directory was published that year so listed persons living there in 1936. Mary Bodine was alive in 1945 and may have died in or before 1946 to be omitted in the 1947 directory unless she moved.

Bridgeton.---Mrs. Mary Bodine, Bridgeton, died Tuesday in Mt. Holly. She was the mother of the Rev. Carlton W. Bodine, pastor of the Neptune City Memorial Methodist church.
