1st marriage--1846--ELIZABETH EVANS.
From Marriages of Duane Street Methodist Church (Manhattan) 1838-1863 contained in New York City Methodist Marriages 1785-1893, by William Scott Fisher, NYG&BS, 1994.
Lawrence H. Bodine AND Elizabeth Bierley were married 31 Oct 1846.

In 1850, Lawrence H. Bodine, age 36, was living with his wife in Yonkers, Westchester County, New York. He reported his occupation as a mahogany sawyer. In 1860, he lived in Yonkers as L. H. Bodine, age 47, and in 1870 in New York Co. as Lawrence Bodin, 59, with wife Elizabeth, 59 and son Nelson A., 19.

In 1880, Lawrence Bodine, age 67 and a widower, lived with his son Nelson in Manhattan, New York City where he worked as a sawyer. Based upon the four censuses, his birth ranged from 1811 to 1814.

City Directories for Yonkers, Westchester County, NY for 1886 list Lawrence Bodine, sawyer and for 1892, Lawrence H. Bodine.

Some time in or after 1892, Lawrence Bodine remarried.

The venerable L. H. Bodine, of 48 Wood worth avenue, while walking down Dock street, on Saturday, we regret to announce, slipped on the ice, fell, and broke his arm.

BODINE---In this city, on Monday, Feb. 24, 1896, LAWRENCE H. BODINE, in the 83d year of his age. Funeral services at his late residence, 48 Wordsworth avenue, on Wednesday afternoon, at half-past 2 o'clock.

His death was not recorded in New York state death records.

The 1895 NY census for Westchester County is lost, but the 1900 census shows:

1905 Yonkers, Westchester Co., NY: Jennie BODINE 64, Annie R. TURNER 56 cousin.
