WYLDE,William Howard Age 95, of Audubon, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family on Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Mr. Wylde was a lifelong resident of Audubon. He graduated from Audubon High School in 1932 and had made a career at the Frankford Arsenal in Philadelphia, PA where he retired as the Foreman of Research & Development after 38 years of service. Howard had many interests and was an avid reader, fisherman and hunter. He loved nature and enjoyed spending time in his garden and riding his motorcycle through the Pine Barrens. Mr. Wylde is the devoted husband of 67 years to Gwenn (nee Bodine) Wylde, and is the father of William Keith (Frances), G. Elizabeth Wylde (Lance Drane) and Nancy W. (Richard) Ryan, and the proud Grandfather of 6 and Great Grandfather of 3. Relatives and friends are invited to join the Wylde family to remember and pay tribute to Howard on Friday morning between 9 and 11 am at the HENRY FUNERAL HOME, 152 W. Atlantic Ave., Audubon where a funeral service will be celebrated at 11 am. Interment and graveside tribute will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill. As an expression of sympathy donations can be made to the Audubon Historical Society 150 Edgewood Ave., Audubon, NJ 08106.

Gwendolyn G. (nee Bodine) Wylde, VMD, of Audubon, NJ on June 6, 2015. Aged 98 years. Beloved wife of the late William Howard Wylde. Devoted mother of William Keith (Frances) Wylde, Elizabeth Wylde (Lance Drane) and Nancy (Richard) Ryan. Loving grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 6. Gwenn grew up in Pennsauken and attended Moorestown High School. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1940 and worked for the veterinary hospital. She later worked as a health inspector for the Haddon Regional Health Commission. She loved local history and was a member of several historical societies. She also loved animals. It was not unusual for her to have an abandoned baby squirrel in her pocket in the springtime. Gardening was her favorite pastime and she and Howard created a beautiful backyard oasis that was enjoyed by many. Viewing Friday, June 12, 2015 from 9am-10am in the Henry Funeral Home, 152 W. Atlantic Ave., Audubon, NJ, with a funeral service at 11am. Interment Locustwood Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the Horticultural Society of South Jersey, PO Box 8331, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002 or Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Marlton NJ 08053.
