Miss Ruth H. Bodine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin A. Bodine, and Gerald L. Townley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Percy A. Townley, of Millport, were married Saturday, October 17, at the Townley home by Rev. Floyd A. Guiles, of Dundee. Attendants were Edna Mae Gilbert and Charles Bodine.

DUNDEE - Gerald L "Jerry" Townley, 62, of 623 Reynolds St., Elmira, died last Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Elmira. He was the brother of James and Francis Townley of Dundee. The funeral was Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Olthof Funeral Home, Elmira. The Rev James Collea officiated. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Hospital Building Fund of Elmira or the North Presbyterian Church of Elmira. Mr. Townley was a truckdriver for Yellow Freight System of West Richfield, Ohio. He was born in Montour Falls. He was a member of the American Legion of Dundee, VFW Post 3562 of Richfield, Ohio, the Elmira Elks 62, the Elmira Eagles 941, and Mechanic's Club of Montour Falls. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Bodine Townley; two sons, David A. of Elmira and Raymond G. of Liverpool; two grandsons; his mother, Mrs. Mildred Wilson Townley of Elmira Heights; three sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Vetter of Alexandria, Va., Doris Gardner and Betty Gallagher, both of Elmira; six brothers, James and Francis, both of Dundee, Richard of Millport, N.Y., Jack and Carroll, both of Horseheads, and Kenneth of Big Flats; and several nieces and nephews.

TOWNLEY, Ruth B. Age 85, died on Wednesday, January 18, 2006, at Elcor Health Services, Horseheads, NY. She is survived by her son, Raymond G. Townley of Baldwinsville, NY; grandsons, Joel Townley of Irmo, SC, Brett Townley of Baldwinsville, NY; sisters, Edna Gilbert, Marjorie Rudd, Elma Swingle, Dorothy Smith; brothers, Weyburn Bodine, Melvin Bodine. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Gerald L. Townley (2/5/1981) and her son, David A. Townley (9/3/2000). She was a former Deaconess and member of the North Presbyterian Church, a member of the O.E.S. and a former employee of Remington Rand. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, on Saturday, January 21, 2006, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with funeral service there at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
