In 1910, Harold Bodine, age 21 and single, lived withhis parents in Pasadena, Los Angeles County, California employed as a wholesale salesman. On 5 June 1917, Harold Chamberlain Bodine registered for the World War 1 draft in McKinley County, New Mexico. He reported he was born 6 Feb 1889 in Mansfield, Ohio, worked as a clerk for Fred Harvey in Gallup, New Mexico, and was married. In 1920, Harold and Florence Bodine now lived in Winslow, Navajo County, Arizona working for a newsservice. In 1930, Harold and Florence Bodine lived in San Bernardino, San Bernardino County, California where Harold worked as an auditor for a railroad. The couple appears not to have had any children.

Harold C. Bodine, 82, of 797 W. 17th St., San Bernardino, died Friday in a San Bernardino hospital. He was born in Mansfield, Ohio, and had lived in San Bernardino 33 years and California 67 years. Bodine was retired superintendent of the eating and dining car department at the Santa Fe Railway. He was a member of Elks Lodge No. 836. Survivors include his widow, Florence C.; and a brother, Chester, of Pasadena. Private graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. View Cemetery. Bobbitt Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
