Western Avenue, with his parents George (age 48) and Addie (age 38), his
brother Howard O. (age 18), and his grandmother Christina (age 77).
Harry is at school, age 14.
1910 Federal Census -
Living in Racine City, Racine County, Wisconsin, 729 Lake Avenue, with
his parents George (age 55) and Addie (age 47), brother Oliver (age 23),
and Oliver's wife May (age 26) and their two children Cecile (age 6) and
Oliver 'Lyle' Howard (age 4). Harry is a bookkeeper at a packing office,
age 23.
1920 Federal Census -
Living in Rochester, 9th Ward, Monroe County, New York, with his wife
Alma (age 34). He is renting the house they are in. He has not attended
school since September 1, 1919. He can read and write, and speak
English. He is a salesman in a music company employed as a wage earner.
Harry is age 33.
1930 Federal Census -
Living in the City of Rochester, 23rd Ward, Block 2322, Monroe County,
New York, 66 Britton Road with his wife Alma (age 45) and mother Addie
(age 70). Harry owns his house, valued at $6,500. He also owns a
radio. The family does not live on a farm. Harry was first married at
the age of 26. He has not attended school or college at any time since
September 1, 1929. He can read and write. He is a salesman for retail
furniture. He is a worker and actually working at the time of the
census. He is not a veteran. Harry is age 44.

living in the following places for the years noted and occupations:

1930 (14 April) Rochester, Monroe Co., NY: Harry F. BODINE 44 IL married@26 salesman-retail furniture, Alma 45 WI wife married @27, Addie 70 OH mother widowed.

1940 (13 April) Rochester, Monroe Co, NY: Harry F. BODINE 54 IL salesman-retail furniture, Alma 55 WI wife.

The 1941 Rochester (NY) City Directory lists Harry F. and Alma G. Bodine as residents, but that of 1943 lists Alma G. Bodine as widow of Harry. [Note" The 1943 directory was published that year and lists residents for the previous year. Consequently Harry Bodine died between the April 1940 census and 1942.]

On 12 Sept 1918, Harry Farnsworth Bodine registered for the World War 1 draft in Rochester, New York. He reported he was born 20 Aug 1885, worked as a salesman for Edison Studio, and named Mrs. Alma Bodine as his next of kin.

BODINE---Harry Farnsworth Bodine of 66 Britton Rd., Thursday, May 14, 1942, aged 56 years. Survived by his wife, Mrs. Alma G. Bodine; one brother, Howard O. Bodine, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Farrell Brothers Colonial Funeral Home, 51 Ridge Rd. W., near Memorial Bridge, where services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. William Long Dowler officiating. Interment Riverside Cemetery.

Interment, Riverside Cemetery. Arrangements by Edward P. Wynne.
