Crane James Bodine AND Elizabeth Signe Wahlberg were married 29 June 1957.

Crane Bodine assumed the presidency of Bodine's Pianos in 1962.

Bodine, Elizabeth Signe, age 79, born in Skelleftea, Sweden. Passed away peacefully on April 28, surrounded by her family. She shared a full life with her husband Crane Bodine, children; Eric (deceased), Jeff, Steven and Suzie (Bolin) in Edina as well as on the shores of Lake Minnetonka. She was a great wife, sister, mother, grandmother, friend and cook. A private service will be held with family to celebrate her amazing life, love and laughter. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been set up: Elizabeth Bodine Fund at any TCF location. Our little lamb sleeps in Jesus' hands.

Bodine, Crane James Age 85 of Edina, MN, passed away peacefully on 11/13/15. Preceded in death by wife Elizabeth, son Eric. Education SPA, Brown University and U of M Law School. Cranes passion and love for music lead him into the family music business. He continued to build his fathers music business Bodine's Inc. In addition, Crane founded AOAI with over 10,000 members and 60 annual conventions nationwide. Throughout his busy schedule Crane found time for civic activities; Mpls Optimist Club, Mpls, Aquatennial, Mpls. Salvation Army, Evergreen Club. Crane was a wonderful father to Eric, Jeffery (Marilyn), Steven (Jenn), Suzie (Peter) and grandfather to 11. Crane enjoyed his home on Lake Minnetonka as well as a round of golf. Crane lived a full life filled with music, laughter, family and good friends. It wasn't a party without Crane at the keyboard. Service will be held on 11/30/15 at 2 PM, Calvary Lutheran Church, Golden Valley.
