The heritage on John Clarence Glenn his family came from Ireland. I have an Aunt that goes there from time to time for a Glenn Family Reunion.
The hertiage on Jewell Annie (Blackwell) is American Indian ,Cherokee/Choc-taw her Grandfather was a Medicine Man.

My Great Granfather Frank D. Seltz he stowed away on a ship when he was a boy to come to America the Captain caught him and was go to send him back to GERMANY where he was from. My Great Grandfather begged the Captain to let him work on the ship for his fare to come to America so he did he learned to be a Baker of fine breads,cakes & desserts. When he got here in America he went to work in a bakery and later he became a tailor. My Great Grandfather never went back to Germany he was almost a 100 years old when he died in 1963.
