In 1900, Enoch Bodine lived with his family in Trenton engaged as a sign painter. He reported that in 5 years of marriage his wife had borne 2 children, both of whom were living with them. By 1920, Elizabeth Bodine had remarried and was living with her husband, Peter V. Drake and her son William Bodine, in Hopewell, Mercer County. By April 1930 she was widowed again and working as a housekeeper for 71-year old Jeremiah West in Hopewell.

BODINE--On September 13, 1913, Enoch L, son of Jane E. and the late John F Bodine, aged 40 years. Relatives and friends, also Trenton Council No. 90 Jr. O.U.A.M., are invited to attend the funeral from the First M. E. Church on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.

Enoch L. Bodine, the sign painter, died this morning at his home, 316 Academy Street, after being ill for four days with pneumonia. Besides his wife he is survived by one son, William Bodine; one daughter, Elizabeth Bodine; his mother, Mrs. Jane E. Bodine, of Avon, N.J., and by two brothers, Frank, of Avon, and Charles, of this city. The funeral arrangements, which are under the direction of Thatcher, have not been completed.

Mrs. Elizabeth Jane Bodine Drake, 77, who resided with her son, William S. Bodine, of Pennington, died Friday in Princeton after a long illness. A resident of the Hopewell area for 38 years, she was a member of Hopewell Chapter 112, 0. E. S.; Trenton Camp, P. O. S. of A., and the First Presbyterian Church of Hopewell. Surviving is another son, Clarence L. Drake, of Pennington; three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hohmann, of Rutherford; Mrs. Anna Thines and Mrs. Mary Brook, both of Beverly; 12 grandchildren, and 25 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday from the Fair Funeral Home, 10 Front Street, with the Rev. John H. Ginter, of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery, Trenton. Order of the Eastern Star services were held Sunday.
