In 1900, Ethlyn Bodine, age 20 and single, was living with her parents in West Burlington Township and working as a servant. In 1910-1920, William and Ethelyn Herrington lived in Sayre, Bradford County where William worked as a fireman with a steam railroad. In 1910, after 9 years of marriage the couple reported no children. There were no children living with them in 1920 or 1930. Married under the name Harrington, the family was recorded as Herrington in 1910 and 1920 and Harrington in 1930. William and Ethlyn Herrington were buried in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, Bradford County.
