In April 1930, Paul Bodine lived with his wife Esther and sons Earl 7 and Paul Jr. 5 in Oak Park, Cook County, Illinois where he was employed in the manufacture of electric motors. He reported having been married 7 years and that he immigrated to America from Sweden in 1885.

Services for Paul J. Bodine, 82, of 907 N. Elmwood av., Oak Park, who died Monday, will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow in the chapel at 6938 North av. He was chairman of the board and co-chairman of the Bodine Electric company, of which he had been secretary and treasurer for 60 years. A native of Sweden, Mr. Bodine came to Chicago at the age of 16 and attended high school and the Lewis institute here. He was a former member of the Oak Park school board, and chairman of its finance committee. He leaves his widow, Esther; two sons, Earl and Paul; and seven grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Esther M. Bodine, 83, of 907 N. Elmwood av., Oak Park, will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow in the chapel at 6938 North av. She died Tuesday at home. She is survived by two sons, Paul J. Jr. and Earl C.; seven grandchildren; and a brother.
