John M. Bodine was age 11 in 1880 living with his parents in Brooklyn. In 1900, a John M. Bodine, born March 1869 in New York, lived with his family in Hounsfield Township, Jefferson County, New York. It is believed that the son of William and Julia Bodine and this man were the same person. In 1900, he reported his occupation as stationary engineer, that he had been married for 7 years and that his wife had borne one child, their daughter Grace. The family lived in Hounsfield Township through 1930. In 1930, Katherine Bodine, age 55 and now widowed, lived with her son-in-law and daughter, Axel and Grace Cask, in Hounsfield Township. John and Katherine Bodine were buried in Sackett's Harbor Cemetery, Hounsfield Cemetery.
