Russell Bodine was a 1960 graduate of Carlmont High School in Belmont, San Mateo County, California. The San Mateo Times of 8 March 1954 reported on Boy Scout Barton Bodine of Lomita Park School. The San Mateo Times of 13 June 1956 reported on Scout Barton Bodine as a transfer from Millbrae to Belmont Central School. The Daily Review of Hayward, California of 23 Feb 1961 reported on Airman Barton R. Bodine, son of Mrs. B. C. Wallace of 6590 Fountain Avenue, Newark, Calif. as having completed his initial course of AF basic training.

Eunice Louise Kraus and Barton Russell Bodine were married Saturday afternoon in the wedding chapel at Highlands Inn, Carmel. The newlyweds were both graduated from Carlmont High School in Belmont. The bride attended San Francisco State College. At the double ring ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. Howard F. Kraus of Belmont and Mr. and Mrs. George H. Wallace of Fremont. The wedding coincided with the fifty-seventh anniversary of the bride's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gastaldi, formerly of San Francisco. Her paternal grandmother is Mrs. Harry E. Kraus of San Diego.

Register of 8 Feb 2002. The Modesto (Calif.) Bee of 20 Nov 2002 in its obituary of Howard W. Everett, 85, of Tuolumne City, names among his survivors his wife Jeanne Wyllie Everett and daughter, Diane Bodine, of Magalia.
