Robert D. "Bob" Bodine, 69, of Roanoke passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016. He was born on May 7, 1947 in Washington D.C. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert B. and Evelyn Ashworth Bodine. He is survived by his brother, Randy and wife, Mary; his sister, Renee Meador; sons, R. Shane and wife, Teresa, Timothy and wife, Jennifer, Brandon; daughters, Tiffany Richter and husband, Joe, Heather; grandchildren, Elise Tuck and Joshua Bodine (Shane), Bryan Barger (Timothy), Hannah and Isaiah Richter (Tiffany). Bob worked for the VA ABC board for 38 years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, canoeing, camping and hiking. There will be a memorial service held at 1 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2016 at One Faith Fellowship Church, 1668 Goose Creek Valley Rd, Montvale, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Fund and Lung Cancer Research Foundation.

Clint Noble, Baptist Minister. [Note: On 14 Sept 1977 in Roanoke, Robert and Georgette Bodine were divorced.]

KEEN, Georgette Shanley, 56, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, October 3, 2003. She was born March 27, 1947, and was a dedicated nurse at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Surviving are her husband, Eursel D. Keen; son, Shane Bodine and wife, Teresa; step daughters, Tina Keen Davis and Sherry Keen Wilcher; grandchildren, Joshua Bodine, Elise Tuck, Daniel Tuck, Erin Tuck, Jonni Wilcher, and Cristina Wilcher; brothers, Gary Shanley of Louisiana, Edward Shanley of Roanoke; and sister, Gail Zickefoose of Radford. She loved being with her grandchildren and taking care of her family and loved ones. Services will be held at Oakey's North Chapel on Monday, October 6, 2003, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jim Herron officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at Oakey's North Chapel.
