Harold Bodine enlisted in the U.S. Army as a Private on 3 June 1943 in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. He reported he was a salesman and was married. Dorothy (Yoder) Bodine is the daughter of Wellington and Clara May (Rarig) Yoder.

Dorothy Kathryn Bodine, Grand Ledge, MI, Age 92, died April 14, 2011. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Barbara and Joseph Frazier and the entire staff at Fairview for the love and care given to our mother. Fairview became her home in 2007 and she loved it there. An additional thank you to McLaren Health Service for keeping mom on her feet as long as possible and keeping her comfortable during her final days. A private memorial (or celebration of life) service will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to McLaren Visiting Nurse and Hospice, 2316 S. Cedar Street, Suite 600, Lansing, Michigan 48910 in memory of Mrs. Bodine. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, DeWitt Chapel.
