Dave, I am not sure, but don't think so. Even though my Vanest family was living with the Conewago colony that moved to Mercer County, I don't believe they were a direct link. Peter vanest married Jane Bodine on 12 Dec 1789 in Philadelphia County, Pa. I am not positive this is my line, but none of the other Peter Vanest lines fit. Their children were: Mary Vanest, b 1790; Charles Vanest, b 1792; Catherine Vanest, b 1794; Sarah Vanest,b 1796; and Anne Vanest, b 1800. There were Reynersons living nearby in Mercer County.
