Robert Bodine lived with his uncle William Bodine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from 1920 to 1940. In 1940, he was working as a bank real estate agent.

1st marriage--1941--JANE THOMAS WILLIAMS.

A quiet home wedding of interest to many took place...when Jane Thomas Williams, daughter of Mrs. David T. Williams, became the bride of Robert Allen Bodine, son of Mrs. Allen G. Bodine, of Yonkers, N.Y. The Radnor residence of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Arthur B. Huey, formed the setting for the ceremony, which was performed in the presence of the immediate families, with Rev. Dr. Alexander MacColl officiating.

Mrs. Robert A. Bodine, the former Jane Williams, died Friday at her home, 446 Huston rd., Radnor. She was 50. Mrs. Bodine was a member of the Junior League Garden Club. Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Nancy K., and a son, Robert A. Jr.

Burials. Jane Williams Bodine (Mrs. Robert A.) of Radnor, died 25 June 1965, aged 50, and was buried in West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

Marriages. Robert A. Bodine, widower, son of Allen G. & Dorothy (Carsons) Bodine AND Elizabeth G. Tindsley, 1st marriage annulled, dau. of Dawson Coleman & Elizabeth (Groesbeck) Fowler, were married 6 July 1966 by William H. Jefferys Jr. [Note: Elizabeth Glover was 1st married to Fanshawe Lindsley (1909-1975).]

BODINE--Elizabeth (nee Glover) on Dec. 22, 1986 of Radnor, Pa. Wife of the late Robert A. Bodine and mother of Mrs. George W. Robertson, Jr., Robert Coleman Lindsley, Winston Jerome Lindsley and the late George F. Lindsley. Also survived by four grandchildren and two step-children, Nancy Sparks and Robert Bodine, Jr. A memorial service Monday, Dec. 29, 1986 at 11 A.M. from St. David's Church, Valley Forge Road, Wayne, Pa. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Maritime Museum, 321 Chestnut St., Phila, Pa. 19106 in her memory would be appreciated.

Robert A. Bodine, son of the Late Allen G. Bodine, died Friday at his home, 446 Houston rd., Radnor. He was 59. Mr Bodine attended the Episcopal Academy and was a graduate of St. James School and the University of Pennsylvania. He belonged to the Merion Cricket Club, the Racquet Club and the St. Anthony Club. He is survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth Glover; a son, Robert A. Jr.; a daughter, Mrs Richard Spanles; a stepdaughter, Mrs. George Robertson Jr., and three stepsons, George Lindsley, Robert A. Lindsley and Winston Lindsley.

Burials. Robert A. Bodine of Radnor, died 16 April 1971, aged 58, and was buried West Laurel Hill Cemetery.
