Notes for: Robert ("Bo") Leland Bodine, I

Leland served in the U.S. Navy from June 1951 to July 1954 and was discharged with the rank of Seaman (E-3). For many years he worked as a taxi driver in Harriman and since 1974 has operated his own cab company in Harriman--Little Bodine's Cab Company.

BODINE, MR. LELAND - went peacefully to be with the Lord Thursday September 15, 2011 with his wife and son by his side. Bo touched countless lives and will be missed by so many friends and family members. He lived a life full of love, compassion and generosity toward all he meet. He leaves behind his loving wife of 47 years, Ruth; his sons, Tony and Robbie; grandchildren, Chris, Jennifer, Branton and Tymber; great-grandchildren, Chris and Ivory; brothers, J.B. and Bill; sisters, Edna and Sandra; a very special niece, Jeannie "Tuzzy" Branum; very special friends, Kim and Noah, along with countless friends. Proverbs 19:17 Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed. The family will receive friends Tuesday September 20, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Davis Funeral Homes, Harriman. A Celebration of Life will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Winters officiating.
