Mr. Douglas C. Budine, 89, of Biloxi, MS, died Saturday, July 29, 2006, in Biloxi. Mr. Budine was a native of Walton, New York, and had been a longtime resident of the Coast. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of D'Iberville and an Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII. He was retired from Civil Service as an aircraft mechanic. Mr. Budine was preceded in death by his wife, Delphine Newman Budine; his parents, Harry and Goldie Jones Budine; a sister, Arlene McLachlan; and his brother, Floyd Budine. Survivors include his niece, Jean Yarter, of Pensacola, FL; his nephews, Jim McLachlan of Walton, New York, and Jesse McLachlan of King Ferry, New York; a number of great-nieces and great-nephews, and his longtime caregivers, Tommy and Ann Newman and Debbie and Cecil King, all of Biloxi. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2006, at 10 a.m. at D'Iberville Memorial Park. The Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
