JAMES M. BODINE, 90, of Somers Point, died Saturday at Shore Memorial Hospital. Mr. Bodine was an electrician for Westinghouse in Lester, Pa., before his retirement. He was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Somers Point and the Senior Citizens of Somers Point. He was past commander of the Roberts-Johnson VFW Post 2189. Mr. Bodine was also a member of the Clark-Eliason American Legion Post 352, the Keystone Masonic Lodge 153 in Linwood and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows of Pennsville. He was born in Penns Grove and was an area resident for 27 years. Surviving are his wife, Mary; a son, Paul P. McGlinchey of Upper Darby, Pa.; a daughter, Sheila Riley of Lafayette Hill, Pa.; two brothers, Charles of Kaneohe, Hawaii, and Albert of Penns Grove; a sister, Frances Schlipf of Wayne, Pa.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial and Communion will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Somers Point. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Middleton-Stroble Funeral Home, Somers Point, where masonic services will be held at 8 p.m. Contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Church, Somers Point.

RETIRED REGISTERED NURSE, 96 Mary McGlinchey Bodine, 96, a retired registered nurse, died of respiratory complications Sunday at Towne Manor East in East Norriton. Before moving to Montgomery County a couple of years ago, she lived in Somers Point, N.J., and Philadelphia. She was born in Ireland in Mallow, County Cork, and immigrated to the United States as a teenager. Mrs. Bodine worked in Philadelphia for the Albert Einstein Medical Center and Graduate Hospital, retiring in the mid-1970s. She was a 1928 graduate of the Einstein Medical Center School of Nursing and was a member of the alumni association. She also was a graduate of the diploma program of Mount Sinai Hospital in Philadelphia. Mrs. Bodine was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Somers Point and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Keystone Chapter 69. She is survived by a son, Paul P. McGlinchey; a daughter, Sheila Riley; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Roche; and a sister, Sister M. Bernadette. She was the widow of Patrick McGlinchey and James Maxwell Bodine. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Friday at St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing, N.J. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 612 Shore Rd., Somers Point, N.J. 08244.
