Subject: Bodine's and Dill's

Dave:
I found your website this morning as I was researching my Dills line. I am writing a book about my Dutch ancestors - my mother was a Brinkerhoff, originating in Bergen County, then York County, PA; Cayuga County, NY; and finally Clinton County in Michigan where I grew up. My great grandfather Brinkerhoff married Ella Dills, a descendant of William Dills (Diltz) of Urbach Kirchdorf, Rheinland and Knowlton, Warren County, NJ.

I would like your permission to use some of your research and quote resources in my work. I would, of course, give proper recognition. I will also send you a copy of the Dill's chapter with any conflicting information noted.

Unfortunately, I don't believe I have other Bodine's in my background or research. While on a genealogy research trip to upstate New York last month, I did often find Bodine's in the books and records I accessed, since the Dutch tended to move to the same regions. I believe some of my peripheral lines do cross, specifically DeWitt's and Van Fleet's and would like permission to quote, if that is the case, as I come to those families.

Your site is very good and shows a great amount of work. Thanks for putting it on the web.

Sincerely,
Phyllis Lee Doucette, Florida
