Myrtle (Tucker) Bodine was the daughter of Leo and Lena Tucker.

1930 Reading Twp., Lyon Co., KS: Ralph BODINE 27 KS farmer, Ethel 22 KS wife. Married 2 years.

1940 Reading Twp., Lyon Co., KS: Ralph E. BODINE 37 KS farmer, Ethel 32 KS wife, Earl G. 7 KS son, Mary E. 3 KS dau.

Obituary.
Ralph E bodine, 77, Scranton, died Thursday at a Topeka hospital. He was born March 27, 1903, at Burlingame, the son of George and Estella Burns Bodine. Mr Bodine was a farmer in the Miller community before he moved to his present farm near Scranton in 1943. He was retired. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Osage City. He was married to Ethel Colstrom, April 10, 1928, at Emporia. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary Heberling and Mrs. Doris Patterson, both of Topeka; two sons, Merle Bodine, Madison, Wis., and Earle Bodine, Burkburnett, Texas; three sisters, Mrs Lucille Schoenfeld, Albuquerque, N M, Mrs Effie Simes, Shell Knob, Mo, and Mrs Alta Steinbrink, Less Summit, Mo; a brother, Ernest Bodine, Osage City; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 pm Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Osage City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society in care of Crable Funeral Chapel, Osage City.
