Clinton---The wedding of Miss Erma Ruth Piell, daughter of Mrs. Ruth B. Piell of Pittstown RFD and the late Chester Piell, and William A. Bodine, son of Mrs. Keturah Bodine, 22 Bonnell St., Flemington, and the late Clarence H. Bodine, took place today at 2 p.m. in the manse at the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church at Grandin. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Alick Kennedy, pastor.

FLEMINGTON--William A. Bodine, 61, died Sunday in the Hunterdon Medical Center. Born in Flemington, he was an area resident most of his life. He was employed in the buildings & maintenance department of Hunterdon County. He attended Fishburne Military Academy, Waynesboro, Va., and The Hun School of Princeton. He was a 40-year member of the Flemington Fire Department and was chief from 1972 to 1974. He was also a member of the Flemington United Methodist Church, a life member of N.J. State Firemen's Convention, the Hunterdon County Fire Chiefs Association and the N.J. Fire Chiefs Association. He is survived by his wife, Erma Piell Bodine, his mother, Keturah Bodine of Flemington; a brother, Clarence Bodine Jr. of Flemington; a sister, Dorothy Sebeth of Flemington; a and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Flemington Fire Company will conduct services 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the William Bodine Memorial Fund of the Flemington Fire Department, 38 Park Ave., Flemington, N.J. 08822 or the Flemington United Methodist Church, Flemington, N.J. 08822.
