Notes for: Mabel Bodine

Info at Rootsweb's WorldConnect Project gives her name as Maybelle.

From Ronny Bodine:

In June 1900, Mabel's birth date was reported as May 1887, being aged 13. In April 1910 she was 22. Clearly, when she 1st married in 1921, she unreported her age by 8 years to appear younger than her husband. The age reported in 1900 was correct because the birth dates for all other members of the family were correctly reported. Upon her death her correct birth date was reported--7 May 1887.
