In April 1930, Albert R. Bodine, age 10, lived with his brother Chester O. Bodine in Rogers Mills County, Oklahoma.

Services for Ralph Bodine, 84, a retired painter, of Fort Worth, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, at River Oaks Baptist Church in Fort Worth with Dr. Jim Lemons officiating. Masonic graveside services will be at 4 p.m. at the Gardens of Memory in Stephenville. Mr. Bodine passed away Friday, March 12, 2004. He was born Feb. 13, 1920, in Eldorado, Okla. He married Ruby Carter and later married Gladys Beason on Aug. 18, 1971, in Stephenville. He was a U.S. Army and World War II veteran and was awarded the Purple Heart. Survivors include his wife, Gladys Bodine of Fort Worth; sons, Dan Bodine of Presidio, Texas, and Marshal Bodine of Sweetwater; daughters, Claudia Campbell of White Settlement, and Kay Laboda of San Diego, Calif.; one step-daughter, Donah Stricklin of Proctor; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice, 2501 Parkview Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76102.

Funeral services for Ruby Lee Albaugh, 87, of Sweetwater, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009, at Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ with Rev. Jeramy Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Coffee Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at McCoy Funeral Home. Albaugh died Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, in White Settlement. She was born Oct. 9, 1921, in Los Angeles, Calif. She married Robert L. Albaugh in 1967, in Fort Worth. Albaugh moved to Sweetwater in 1968 from Fort Worth. She had worked for Mrs. Bairds Bakery in Fort Worth and had been manager at the Village Market Bakery in Sweetwater. Albaugh also worked for Golden Flake donut shop in Sweetwater. She was a member of Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ. She had also lived in Cleburne where she raised her children. Survivors include daughters, Claudia Campbell and husband Billy of Fort Worth and Kay Laboda and husband Rich of San Diego, Calif.; son, Danny Bodine and wife Noami of Presidio; nine grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 20 step greatgrandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and three step great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Albaugh Sept. 5, 1990; and her son, Marshall E. "Bo" Bodine April 21, 2009. Pallbearers will be Daniel Yee, Aaron Yee, Billy Campbell III, Ricky Moreno, Billy Campbell, Jr.; Perry Moreno, Jodie Bodine Jones and Ryan Dean.

DUBLIN---Gladys Mildred Bodine, 82, a secretary, died Tuesday, Dec. 5 2006, at a Comanche hospital. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Emil V. Becker officiating. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home. She was born on Sept. 4 1924, to Homer & Emily (Fincher) Beason in Alexander. She married Albert Ralph Bodine on Aug. 18 1971, in Stephenville. He preceded her in death on March 12 2004. She was a member of River Oaks Baptist Church and was attending Proctor Baptist Church at the time of her death. She was a charter member of Happy Hill Farm Academy. Survivors include one daughter, Donah Stricklin and significant other, Paul L. Hunt of Proctor; two step-daughters, Kay Laboda of San Diego, Calif., and Claudia Campbell of White Settlement; two step-sons, Dan Bodine of Presidio, and Marshall Bodine of Sweetwater; one grandson, David Stricklin of Benbrook; one niece, Charlotte Mitchell and husband, Michael of Stephenville; nine step-grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
