I found who I think is Emma's husband in an obituary in Delaware Co., NY. His name was Leon E. Houck, b. April 25, 1893 and d. November 18, 1971. They married September 13, 1919. See the Delaware County GenWeb site. A message from Phil Delamarter later confirmed this.

Walton---Leon E. Houck, 78, of Pines Brook, Walton, died Thursday, November 18 at Delaware Valley Hospital after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, November 21 at the Lyon Brothers Chapel, Walton. The Rev. Gerald W. Jones, pastor of the Baptist Church, Walton, will officiate. Burial will be later in the Walton Cemetery. Mr. Houck was born in Walton April 25, 1893, the son of George and Minnie (Wood) Houck. He was married Sept. 13, 1919 to Emma Budine of Pines Brook. They have lived there 52 years. He was a retired Breakstone Company, Walton, employee. He was a member of the Pines Brook Baptist Church, a charter member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a charter member of Truman C. Tobey Post American Legion. He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Davis of Walton and Mrs. Ruth Fitch of Guilford; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Lyon Brothers Chapel at their convenience. The family will be in attendance from7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.

ALFRED AUGUST GLUTH, 92, 40105 Swift Road, Eustis, died Wednesday, Nov. 25. Mr. Gluth was a retired machinist. Born in Michigan City, Ind., he moved to Central Florida in 1958. Survivors: son, Alfred W., Galien, Mich.; stepdaughter, Marguerite Davis, Eustis; sister, Minnie Mensinger, New Troy, Mich.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
