I think he is buried in the Walton Town & Village Cemetery. There is a Harland Bodine there. No dates were given in the information, though. He probably married Pearl Pierce about 12-13-1917. There is a Harland and Pearl Budine buried in the Walton Town & Village Cemetery in Delaware Co., NY. In the same plot is an Ada Budine who died in 1994. Phil Delamarter later confirmed that Harland and Pearl were married.

On 5 June 1917, Harland Budine registered for the World War 1 draft in Walton, New York. He reported he was born 14 May 1895 in Walton, was single and worked as a farmer.

Harland Budine, 22, born in Walton, NY, son of Nathan & Julia (Christian) Budine AND Pearl Pierce, 21, born in Walton, NY, dau. of Albert T. & Alma (Taylor) Pierce, were married 29 Nov 1917 at Walton by Benjamin M. Denniston.

1930 (8 April) Walton, Delaware Co.: Harland BUDINE 34 NY dairy farmer, Pearl A. 33 NY wife, Erving A. 8 NY son. Harland was married at age 22 and Pearl at 21.

1940 (22 April) Walton, Delaware Co.: Harland BUDINE 44 NY dairy farmer, Pearl 43 NY wife, Irving 19 NY son.

WALTON--An open house will be held Sunday, November 26 from 2 to 5 p.m. in Walton in honor of the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Harland Budine. The open house will be held at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Budine, 33 Liberty Street, Walton.
