Cyrus H. Budine of Walton, aged 64 years, passed away at the Fox Memorial hospital in Oneonta on Saturday, February 11, from the effects of cancer. Mr. Budine was taken to the hospital the week previous. Mr. Budine was born in Walton, the son of Asa and Mary Budine. Practically all his life had been spent as a farmer and for many years he has occupied a farm near the Oxbow at Walton. He was a man of friendly disposition whose passing many friends will mourn. He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Hannah Shutters before her marriage and by 4 daughters and 6 sons. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock at the First Methodist church of Walton, of which he was a member, Rev. C.E. Rignall, the pastor, officiating. Burial was made in the Walton cemetery.
