I went to the Locust Grove Cemetery in Quakertown, New Jersey and copied the following information from the tombstones. Let me know if you need anything else. I know my mother has more specific birthdates and possibly dates of death for some of these people but she is moving out of Quakertown next month and those papers are going with her so we may dig them out after the move.

Divorced

I have quite a bit of information on the Bloom family because they are also buried in the Locust Grove Cemetery. That name came with John M. Bodine's marriage to Sarah Catherine Bloom. I have her parents and siblings. Let me know what you want.

The only question I have for you concerns John M. Bodine and John H Bodine. Do you have proof that the John M. buried in Quakertown is the son of the John H buried in Sand Brook? We did go to Sand Brook and found all the information you had recorded and nothing more we could relate to.

Ooops! do have a second question. There is a Jacob born in 1806 married to a Catherine Fauss and a Jacob born before 1755 married to a Catherine/Nancy, but I would assume there must have been at least a generation between those Jacobs. Did I miss something in your records at that level?

In the 1930 Reunion List which got me hooked on your web site, I see a Mrs. Samuel Lawshe is described as probably Sarah Catharine Bodine, daughter of John H. Bodine and Clara Sine. Isn't it funny that John M. had a sister named Sarah Catharine and married a woman named Sarah Catherine. I see that Mrs. Lawshe was called Sally and Sarah Catherine Bloom Bodine was always called Kate.

his has been quite interesting and I look forward to more correspondence with you. By the way, where do you actually live? I am in Sussex County and my mother will be moving here at the end of August.

Linda
