On 12 Sept 1918, Thomas F. Quinn registered for the World War 1 draft in Irvington, Essex County, New Jersey. He reported he was born 12 May 1882, worked as advertising manager for the New York Telephone Company, and Mrs. T. F. Quinn was his next of kin. Thomas Quinn, age 38 and widowed, lived Jan 1920 in the home of his sister Alice Quinn in Plainfield, Union County where he worked as advertising manager for the telephone company.

Children: Thomas Francis Jr. (1916), Margaret L. (1919).

Mrs. Thomas Quinn, formerly of this city, died last night at her home, 10 Tremont street, Irvington. She is survived by her husband and a child, born recently. Death was due to pneumonia. Mrs. Quinn was formerly Miss Catherine Bodine. She was a graduate nurse of the Muhlenberg Hospital Training School. Her parents reside in North Plainfield.

Thomas F. Quinn Sr. of 511 New St. died today (Feb. 23, 1950) in Muhlenberg Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Quinn was an active member of the Central New Jersey Horsemen's Association which ran matinee trotting at the former Boro Park track in South Plainfield. He acted as its starter and race official. He is survived by two sisters, Miss Alice M. and Miss Loretta R. Quinn, at home; a son, Thomas F. Quinn Jr. of New York; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Whittington of Metuchen, and one grandchild. Services will be held Saturday from the Crescent Home, P. Casey and Son, and in St. Mary's Church. Details will be announced tomorrow. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow evening.

Thomas and Katherine Quinn were buried in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Plainfield, Union County.
